1. Who we are
Insighter Digital (“we”, “us”) operates this website and provides software development services. You can reach us at teaminsighter@gmail.com.
2. What we collect
We try to collect as little as possible. Specifically:
- Information you send us directly — name, email, company, and the message body when you email us or use a contact form on this site.
- Server logs — IP address, user-agent, and request path, retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging.
- Optional analytics — aggregated, anonymized page-view metrics if privacy-respecting analytics is enabled. No cross-site tracking, no advertising cookies, no fingerprinting.
We do not collect special-category personal data, payment-card details, or anything sensitive through this site.
3. How we use it
- To reply to enquiries you send us.
- To deliver and operate our services if you become a client.
- To diagnose issues, prevent abuse, and keep the site secure.
We do not sell personal data, ever. We do not use your information to train third-party AI models.
4. Who we share it with
Only the service providers we need to run our business — for example, our email provider, hosting provider, and analytics tool. Each is contractually required to handle data in line with this policy and applicable privacy law.
We will disclose information if required by law, court order, or to defend our rights.
5. How long we keep it
- Email enquiries: kept for the duration of any subsequent engagement plus seven years for tax / accounting purposes, or until you ask us to delete them — whichever is sooner.
- Server logs: up to 30 days.
- Analytics: aggregated indefinitely; individual events < 12 months.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Confirm what data we hold about you.
- Correct any inaccurate data.
- Delete the data we hold about you, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Receive a copy of the data you provided in a portable format.
Email teaminsighter@gmail.com with the request; we'll reply within 30 days.
7. Cookies
This site uses essential cookies for theme preference (light/dark) and session state. No advertising or tracking cookies. If analytics is enabled, the analytics tool may set a first-party cookie that does not identify individuals.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy materially, we'll update the “Last updated” date above and, where required, notify you directly.
This page is a plain-language summary intended to be honest about what we actually do. For binding legal terms, see our Terms of Service and any engagement-specific contract.
